CECS338 Project 2
I’m in the process of learning how to use Perl to access an oracle database. Class examples are pretty poor. Why is it that when they give you examples of the code, it’s always broken?

Australian Shepherd Rescue Page

I continue to check up on available Australian Shepherd’s, one day I’ll have enough time and money to rescue one.

I’m taking CECS 338, Database Management Systems this semester and I’m really not sure how well I’m doing. Some of the concepts are easy to follow, but I have this feeling that I’m just scratching the surface. That there’s something much more sinister waiting for me under the surface. There is a huge final group project at the end of the semester… I’m semi worried about it, I think I get more worried as the semester progresses, though I think the group has some organization. Just seems like such a hugh project to undertake.

I inserted a counter onto this website and found that I spend more time looking at that than actually adding anything new to this site.
Part of last week and most of this week have been semi-hectic. I had to finish up a 84 page PageMaker file of the next “book” project for Dianne to send to the editors for Comments. Had numerous other odds and ends for my job since school is still getting off the ground. I’m taking a Database Management System Class, CECS 338 and have a project due on Thursday. Had to take care of my parents place for the last two weeks, so haven’t had my own home “nest” for a while. Plus, had a frisbee tourney in Kirksville last weekend and another coming up this weekend. This weekend is Sectionals in St. Louis. This is the tournament that I had to turn in an official roster back in August. Any way, what I wanted to say.. is that it’s Friday finally and I have some space to relax finally.
